Tug's Final Week

IMG_4652.JPG

The last couple of weeks with Tug focused on staying consistent with pack walks, routines and rituals. Controlling and addressing Tugs overly-excited reactions was key too, as this would normally cause him to get into trouble. This is what ultimately caused him to be so misunderstood. My goal was to eventually have him visit a very popular off-leash park, that can very often represent extreme excitement for dogs.

I was very proud of the progress Tug was making, and with the time and effort we had put in to his rehabilitation. That said, I was 100% confident that he was ready for this challenge-- to visit High Park. The Pack and I have been honoured to provide Tug with what every dog should enjoy, and he definitely earned the moment. The pay off for all of us is what you'll see in the video.

Here are some highlights of Tug's last couple of weeks with us
