Making Progess with Teddy

Sunday's weather was perfect for an afternoon at the beach and an opportunity to work with Teddy.

He hadn't been to the beach before, so this would prove to be a challenge. With a few exercises, some time to explore, and most importantly, the opportunity to socialize, you'll notice The Pack close by at all times. They are supporting Teddy through all these first experiences. They are simply living in the moment.

Monday, the gang visited High Park. We focused on Teddy socializing in an environment where a lot of excitement occurs. The muzzle was a precaution, and the goal was to remove it when I had developed enough trust with Teddy. He amazed me with how well he handles all these challenges and first time experiences. I honoured his progress and our new-found trust by removing the muzzle and ending our day off-leash.
