We have to remember as well, that food and water are affection. You should be in control of the feeding ritual, soldifying your role as pack leader. When done correctly, the respect you earn from your dog is incredible.

An important focus of Teddy's rehab was gaining his trust and respect. The feeding ritual was a wonderful opportunity to do this.
